The Bonneville Shoreline Trail reaches North Ogden too, the Forest Service says, as single track from the Beus Trailhead on 4600 South.

North Shore Aquatic Center, built in 2005, has a lazy river, two diving boards, a large waterslide and a splash pad. The city says swimmers get a backdrop of Ben Lomond Peak and the Wasatch Range. Equestrian Park, on Mountain Road, has a 35,525-square-foot riding arena and nine holes of disc golf. Kirt's Drive-In, at 1974 North 400 East, says stepping inside feels like traveling back in time. It also takes orders on its own website.
Evening
North Ogden evenings can end at Barker Park, at 2375 Fruitland Drive, where the amphitheater has light towers and a large LED screen. The city says the screen is available for movie nights or as a backdrop for plays. The parks page says the amphitheater can be reserved for events. Lakeview Park, at 3550 North 350 East, covers 24.3 acres and lists nature walking trails and access to the canal trail. North Ogden has no train station. Ogden's FrontRunner stop on Wall Avenue is 6.4 road miles from City Hall.
Seasons
Cherry Days is North Ogden's yearly tradition, held around Independence Day, the city says. It lists an early morning 5K, a parade down Washington Boulevard, carnival rides, vendor booths and fireworks. The first one was held on July 14, 1932, to widen the market for cherries. When snow comes, Barker Park and Lomond View Park both list sledding hills. The city's history says settlers arrived in 1850, and crickets took most of the crops in 1855. North Ogden became a town in 1934 and a city in 1950.
